What is a crypto bubble map?

Each bubble represents one cryptocurrency. Bubble size tracks whichever metric you pick — market cap, volume or price — so the biggest coins are easy to spot at a glance, while color shows whether the price is up (green) or down (red) over the selected period.

How do I read the heatmap?

Switch to Heatmap view to see the same coins as flat colored tiles instead of circles. Brighter green means a bigger gain, brighter red means a bigger loss, and tile size still follows your chosen metric — handy for scanning hundreds of coins at once.

What is altcoin season?

"Altcoin season" is crypto slang for a stretch where most altcoins (everything except Bitcoin) outperform Bitcoin. Our Altseason Index tracks the share of the top 50 coins beating Bitcoin over the last 30 days — the higher it runs, the more the market favors altcoins over BTC.
